We continue to make improvements to our trumpet line. 2002 saw a variety of structural changes, including sturdier braces, new red brass mouthpipes, redesigned receivers, upgraded third slide finger ring holders and screws, and new look slide pull knobs. 2003 focused more on pistons and valve casings. To say this department has been restructured would be an understatement. CNC lathes now turn out trumpet, cornet, and fiuegelhom pistons and valves according to the most exacting specifications and tolerances. Top and bottom valve caps sport a new look, and now feature a thread design that allows for easy on and off application. Confidence comes from a great piston and valve assembly, and we're brimming with it!

Color it silver. That seemed to be the catch phrase for 2004. Trumpets, and especially our marching brasswlnds, were produced in record numbers last year with silver plated finishes. Looks great, and sounds even better. Players are also taking notice that our optional plated finishes (both silver and nickel) are priced at levels at or below the prices our competitors show for brass lacquered finishes. Once again, another plus that has better value written all over it.

Trigger tombones continue to be a very important part of our line.  Great sound, projection, slide action, and mechanical rotor operation combine to represent the best USA made value in F-rotor trombones.  Rotor mechanisms for 1004 sport a larter redeigned main screw and stop plates are now metal.  These improvements are all made as a result of player and dealer input.

New and improved!  Our M-100 Marching Mellophone fits this description perfectly.  Why doesn't Blessing add a thumb hook to the first valve slide, and an adjustable finger ring to the third valve slide?  We listened to players and have incoporated these changes into our M-100 for 2004.  Also new for 2004 is our mellophone No. 6 mouthpiece.   The end result is enhanced intonation, while still maintaining the great musical qualities of this key of F instrument.

We have been making our own line of flutes for 30 years.  Great "out of the box" playing quality and superb sound allow our flutes to make inroads in what is arguably the most competitive segment of the wind instrument industry.   Customers across the county agree that our flute line is one of the best kept secrets in our business.  So to answer a commonly asked question...yes, Blessing does make flutes!
